El Prat airport is situated 20 km from the Barcelona city center.
1.- To go by train from the airport, take R2 North Line of the local train service (RENFE Rodalies) until the mainline station “Barcelona Sants”, which has connections with the metro network (Line 3, green). Take the metro in the direction to “Canyelles” and get off at the station called “Liceu”.
2.- By metro: take Line 9 of the metro from any of the two terminals of the airport until the end of the line, located at the station of “Zona Universitària”. There, transfer into Line 3 until metro station of “Liceu”. The airport ticket costs 4.50 euros and it is valid for all the trip.
3.- Aerobus is a bus service that connects the airport with the centre of Barcelona, leaving every 5 minutes every day of the year. Bus stops are located outside each terminal. The end stop is “Plaça Catalunya”, at a 15-minute walking distance from the congress venue.
4.- By taxi the journey time is nearly 30 minutes with an approximate cost of 30 euros.
